Sheriff Jail & License

Committee Members:  Carl Borngasser – Chair, John Yoder – Vice Chair, Kathy Arbogast, Ron Kestner, Bill Peterson, Bob Weller, Randy Wittenberg

The Sheriff, Jail & License Committee shall examine the reports of the Sheriff required to be filed with the County Board and shall audit all bills for the Sheriff’s department and jail.  The Committee shall receive and recommend action upon all applications for liquor and raffle licenses to the County Liqour Commissioner, who is the County Board Chair.  Said Committee shall report any violations of license requirements to the State’s Attorney.  The Committee shall also be designated to address the concerns, problems and issues involving the Livingston County Circuit Clerk, Coroner, Court Services, Circuit Court and State’s Attorney.
